The C8 Corvette is coming, here's everything we know.
GM has announced that 7-18-2019 is the date that the C8 Corvette will make its debut. It's a mid-engine.
The most obvious fact, is that this is going to be a mid-engine Corvette. The media sites are saying there might be 3 different engines which seems unlikely. If we look at the history of the Corvette we don't typically find 3 different engines, maybe 2. What we do tend to find is a base engine and then an upgraded engine. With the C7 Corvette, Chevrolet introduced the LT1 6.2L Small Block V-8 engine. Then, in 2015 The Z06 comes with a 6.2 L (376 cu in) supercharged and intercooled LT4 V8 engine
The gauge cluster is all digital.
No more analog love letters in this Corvette. This gauge cluster is entirely digital, which seems odd since we've been toying with digital dashboards since the 1980's.
